This guitar works great with Rock Band 1, and does not work in "rock band" mode with Rock Band 2 on the latest firware update for the PS3. However if you change the guitar to "Guitar Hero" it will work fine with your Rock Band 2 game. The guitar is fairly light, the whammy bar is a bit stiff, the buttons are easy to press, but can be a bit slippery. |

The guitar is is a little smaller than the standard Guitar Hero 3 guitar, but the neck is a pretty thick. Having smaller hands, I find it harder to use than the standard guitar. Also, the receiver is huge. When you plug in the receiver it is looks massive compared to the Guitar Hero 3 receiver. One other good thing is that it does work with Rock Band 1 and 2. |

I guess its true you get what you paid for. I got a really good deal on both of these. How could I say NO? I purchased 1 each for my children for Christmas. They didnt work. Atleast they didnt work with Playstation 3 like it says they do. My kids were sad. But what can you do, not much it would have costed more to send them back than it cost to purchase them. |

I bought this to have a second guitar for GH:World Tour and after countless attempts, it will not stay linked to the PS3...the lights come on and flash, but as soon as you try to use it, nothing! I first thought the batteries were weak or the base not connected to the USB port, but after fresh batteries and checking the connection it still won't work. I was going to return it but my daughter decided it's her new toy and it keeps her occupied while we're playing! |

We had our doubts about this guitar, but as soon as it was plugged in my husband LOVED it. He plays on PS3 GH3 only for now. We plan to get Rockband soon though. A great purchase. I recommend this to anyone who needs a second guitar. Was well worth it. |
