Pokemon Diamond is a traditional Pokemon RPG that takes place in a region called Sinnoh.
In the Sinnoh region, there are two Pokemon that symbolize the region. They appear in the Sinnoh reigon's myths and old folklore. One is called Dialga, and is said to have the power to control time. The other is called Palkia, who is said to have the ability to distort space. The sinister organization called Team Galaxy is trying to rule the region by utilizing these two Pokemon's power. During your adventure to complete your Pokedex and become the Champion, these two Pokemon, and Team Galaxy, will intertwine into the story and lead you on a fantastic journey across the Sinnoh region.
When you set off on your travels, you'll be able to play as either a boy or girl Trainer. You will also utilize the DS's dual slots to transfer Pokemon from the GBA Pokemon games and be able to link up with Pokemon Ranger to access more special content. Pokemon fans have caught glimpses of Mime Jr., Lucario, Munchlax and Weavile in Pokemon movies, and these Pokemon will be debuting in this adventure. |

This is a great game. The kids and I love playin and trading. Get pearl for your other DS and then you can play with the kids. Graphics are really good, gameplay is smooth and straight forward. |

I LOVE this game. |

OK. I'm 44 years old and female. This is the first Pokemon game I ever played. (Previously my young son had played Pokemon Stadium on the N64 and Colosseum and XD on the GameCube, but I didn't really pay attention to it. And of course we watch the shows.) This game is SO addicting. I bought it when it first came out; completed it in May of 2007, and have logged an additional 600 hours breeding, training, and battling Pokemon. Most of that extra 600 hours was battling. Anyway, the more you play, the more you learn; with the help of sites like the famous serebii.net you can look up which attacks your Pokemon will get when it reaches a certain level and plan an ultimate moveset. I don't battle over WiFi (except with my husband and son) so I'm not into training and equipping 'killer' level Pokemon. This game has a great pace, fun to learn, and still lots of things to keep me entertained after all this time. I've got all 490 Pokemon (or whatever the final count is) and am working on getting my faves to lv. 100. |
