Terrible Product
Can't see how they can continued to sell this product. I just sent my second one back. I looked like it was just what I wanted by reading their catalog so ordered it about a month ago but when it came I realized it wouldn't work on my Mac computer because my 5-year old didn't have Intel. I was about to buy a new one anyway so made a couple of trips to the Apple store to be certain I was about to invest in the right IMac for me. It was a few days before I got my new computer all set up then was ready to try the photo scanner. It was fairly easy to set up and I got some of my old pictures out to practice on. They showed up on my screen with white lines running through them. I checked all my cords and even recalibrated but it was still the same. I called the 800 number for Brookstone, got a nice lady who admitted I must have just gotten a bad one and they would make it good. They sent the UPS label right away and I sent the bad scanner back. It took a week to get a replacement which came earlier today. I immediately sat down to see how it would work and it was exactly the same . . . if not worse. I tried everything but there wasn't even troubleshooting advice for "white lines on the scanned photo." So . . . I called Brookstone again, ready to get a refund, only to be told this time that they could either replace it or give me a credit in their store. Now why would I want any of their products?! It seems I had gone past the 30 day time limit which started with my ORIGINAL ORDER! I was flabbergasted to say the least. I wrangled with the girl on the phone for a while then asked to speak to a supervisor. Amazingly (ha ha) she returned in an appropriate amount of time and announced that they were going to be nice people and refund my money. I resisted the urge to tell them what they could do with their catalogs from now on.

Horrible resolution
Although it works very quickly, the resolution is awful. Lots of lines like previous consumers, and I too have given it a second chance. The second scanner had lines too.

Don't Waste Your Money
Purchased one online, hooked it up and every photo scanned had white lines across the image. Took it back to the store and exchanged for another one. The second one scanned 3 photos perfectly then gradually started adding in those same white lines (with a completely different set of pictures than I used with the first scanner). After about 12 photos, the white lines were as bad as the first one. I've cleaned, calibrated, modified the resolution and scanned all sorts of pictures, but nothing will take away the white lines. I intend to take this second one back to the store and get my money back.

It is such a shame that this little jewel won't work. It was very easy to setup and use, it's compact, and it scanned a 4x6 picture in about 30 seconds. If the white lines would just go away, it would be perfect.

Don't even think about it ....
Had high hopes for this scanner and it was a huge disappointment. I've had exactly 2.5 days. It scanned the first 80-ish photos fine, and then it just plain stopped working. Invest in a better one.

Hate It!
I hate it! It's grainy. The iConvert Photo Scanner puts about 16 lines in it. I am unable to fix it.
