Traditional yard rakes work great on open lawn areas where you can grab wide swathes of leaves and grass. But that same large size can cause a lot of frustration and wasted effort in confined spaces. The tines seem to catch everything - branches, roots or other obstructions - without getting the leaves and grass. Plus, storing the rake requires as much garage wall space as a large snow shovel. Here's a great solution to both problems: a rugged 15-tine rake that lets you set the width anywhere from 24" to 8" with the flip of a lever and shrinks itself down to just 30" length. Handy but heavy |
I had been wishing for a tool just like this and found it! It's very versatile and it's great for reaching into small places, but it is too heavy (much heavier than any other full-size rake I have). I should have compared the weight of this rake with others that may have been available for purchase, but this one seems very well constructed.

Versatile Rake! |

No need to own multiple width rakes! This handy rake will tackle all your raking jobs with ease! I like how it adjusts easily to fit between plants and rows. It's very light weight, but yet sturdy and strong too (nice heavy duty tines). The wide 24" setting allows me to quickly rake up the many leaves in my yard...and the narrow 8" is perfect for cleaning-up and raking around all my plants, as not to harm them. It's a great rake for my kids to use also, since I'm able to adjust the length of the handle; very nice for my little helpers :) Thank you Jack's Tool Shed for your fine products, service, and affordable pricing! |

Only if everything I owned could collaspe for easy storage |

This rake is great, I can adjust it to any size and make it fit in smaller spaces for raking, whereas a regular rake can't fit in tight spaces. Plus I can collapse it all the way for easy storage, takes up little room in the garage. The best rake to own. |

Nice idea, poor construction |

The rake does adjust from 24 to 8 inches. It's very nice for getting into tighter spaces. Mine broke while raking in one of the tight spots. The rake seperated where the base of the teeth attach to the adjustable clamp. I was able to feed it back through and clamp it down tigher using some pliers. |
