The ergonomic and lightweight design allows for better control and less fatigue. Providing cordless convenience, this tool comes with a rechargeable 6-volt NiCad integral battery which gives approximately 30 minutes of run-time and a 16-hour external battery charger which plugs easily into any household outlet. Using machine-sharpened 6-inch steel blades, this shrubber quickly and cleanly trims shrubs and bushes in either direction and features an integrated lock-off button to prevent accidental start-ups for added safety. This product weighs just over 2 pounds and comes with a 2-year warranty. This grass shear also accepts the Black & Decker upright extension handle (sold separately) for more comfortable standing use and greater reach. |

Product is Adequate |

The cordless electric shrubber was adequate but not spectacular in its performance. It was shipped and delivered as expected in a reasonable manner. I certainly wish it had multiple replaceable batteries like previous black and decker cordless tools, so I could keep working with one battery while another one was on charge. |

Handy Little Tool |

This shrubber did a great job trimming my bushes and landscaping. The blade is short, making the shrubber very easy to handle. It's also lightweight, so there was no fatigue associated with the job. Since it is cordless, there's no worry about slicing through power cords. Also, unlike gas powered garden tools, it is very quiet during operation. It's probably not the best for very large hedges due to its short blade and small size. There was plenty of power to complete my landscaping job before losing the charge. All in all, I think the B&D cordless electric shrubber was a good value for its cost! |

The shrubber is ideal for what it was made for. It does a good job triming small branches or twigs. It should only be used for new growth, not last years growth. The battery time will give one about 20 minutes of cutting. |

Got this trimmer for my wife. She loves it compared to the power trimmer we had previously. It is very light and perfect for light trimming of small shrubs and plants. Good tool for these types of jobs. |
