Good stater set |
I love this soldering set. It was just what I needed and I didn't have to break the bank to get it. Does everything that I need it to do.
Would buy again!!! |

burns like butter |
Burns softer woods (bass) like butter! Have to let it get really hot for harder woods like birch though. |

A bit slow to heat up |
|
I've seen some reviews on here stating that the iron never gets hot enough to do any soldering for electronic parts. Well I didn't find that to be the case. The problem the others had was they probably didn't wait long enough. It takes quite a few minutes to heat up enough for soldering, but it does get there eventually. I think it's a good value for the iron, the holder/base with "helping hands" and the variety of attacments. |

The Arms |
|
The arms made to assist you holding objects while working on them are much better than I expected. The product is as advertised. |
