Blew out fuses in car within 15 minutes of first use |
After that experience, I replaced the fuses in the auto for the power outlets and tried it again, but now unit was dead.
The only item plugged in was a DELL Laptop Computer.
I have not had time to pursue returning it as defective, but need to do so.

Works great! |
We bought this item so that we could use our laptop in the car and also to be able to plug in more items in our RV. I like that it has two outlets.
Some people have said it was "loud" but I didn't understand that at all. Yes, there is a quiet "whirring" sound from the fan, but if you're driving down a highway or have the radio on low, you'd never hear the fan.
I think it was a good purchase. Worth the money and I'd recommend it to a friend. |

|
I purchased the Belkin AC power converter for my cross country trip from california to virginia. I am half way done with the trip and the power converter has worked extremely well. I am able to work on my laptop while my wife drives and the kids watch their portable dvd player in the back. This was a great purchase and I am also able to save by not having to purchase separate car chargers for my cell phones, they just plug into the power converter. |
