I feel duped after purchasing this product based upon the Jas-store description. I was under the impression that I was buying a Hoover brand product at a great price. I was wrong. The product is some cheaper quality knock off. I guess I have learned once again that I get what I pay for. |

GREAT product, but not made by Hoover. |

This is definitely a great product for two main reasons: it works really well, and it costs less than half what you'd pay for the Hoover brand filter in any store. It should be noted, however, that it is not a product made by the Hoover company. This means that it is slightly different in shape than the original filter that came with my machine. (In my machine, the top circle on the filter is supposed to slide into the catch on the plastic mesh screen to keep it in place, as shown in the picture above--this one's top circle is smaller than the catch, so it sits off center by about 1/2 an inch.) The difference doesn't remotely affect the filter's function; if anything, I have noticed that my machine is doing a much more effective job of cleaning than it ever did before. And, it is certainly NOT worth twice the price to buy one that is a perfect fit. I recommend buying two or more at a time to save on shipping. |

These filters are so high locally, and keep going up. I waited as long as I could using the old one in my vacuum, but after putting in the new one, its like giving my vacuum new life! What a difference a new filter makes! I bought two, no telling how much these things will cost the next time I need one. |
