This is the best mobile base I have bought! I tried a different brand this time. I know Jet is a very good name and now I am a believer!! Absolutely no tools needed! This thing has locking pins so it slides to adjust to size! I had it together within 5 minuets!! Jet put a lot of thought into this item and this will not be the last Jet product I buy. |

Great Mobile Base |
I ordered this base after looking at a number of products. It is a great product. It is sturdy and the assembly uses no tools: it just snaps together. It rolls easily even with 500 lb of machine on it.
The minimum size is listed as 24" X 24" but this is not true. The minimum size is 18". You can make an 18" side by cutting one of the bars is half with a hacksaw. This takes less than ten minutes. Now the two 12" short bars are used to join the short sides. I used this technique to make a base for a band saw with a footprint of about 18" by 30" and it worked very well. |

Does What It's Supposed To Do |
I ordered this mobile base for my new Jet JPS-10: 10" ProShop 1-3/4HP 30" CW Tablesaw. The base is perfect for this tablesaw; thanks to the reviewers of the Jet tablesaws for suggesting this base. Jas-store's posted price was almost half the price my local Woodcraft was selling the base for. Combine that with free Super Saver shipping (I received the base in two days) and Jas-store can't be beat! They even deducted another $13.50 discount to their already low price. I've always been satisfied with products ordered through Jas-store. Thanks for the great Jas-store customer service!

Ok, nice package, easy assembly, good quality, stong enough to handle the router table (shop build to Norm Abram's plans 5-Star) with all of my bits three routers, wenches, templates, partridge and pear tree, etc. But no levelers!!! Get the Shop Fox it's not quite as slick but it's every bit as strong and it has levelers! If you've got typical basement/garage floors this doesn't get it. |

Note that two of the casters do not rotate and only move in one direction. |
