Jas-store.com Review |
|
If you're like us, you've crammed more tools into your workshop than can really fit. Luckily, an HTC universal mobile base (or two) can make a world of difference. The base is sturdy and easy to assemble, plus--unlike any other mobile base on the market--it adjusts to fit virtually any large woodworking machine, forming squares from 12 by 12 to 36 by 36 inches and rectangles as big as 20 by 52 inches. Holes at 1-inch increments let you choose any shape in between, and wheels at all four corners make it easy to maneuver. Roll one tool in; roll another tool out. Moving equipment around a crowded shop has never been this easy. --Jon Groebner |

FAST SHIPPING |

I ordered my mobile base on Sunday morning and I recieved it on Tuesday afternoon. That is the fastest I've ever recieved product without paying $ for overnight. The base seems pretty heavy duty. I didn't have much trouble assembeling. I put my delta t350 on it and moves around very well. It is about 200 lbs. So far I'm happy with it.... |

not sturdy enough |
|
Using with Jet contractor saw. Fine if mobile just means pushing it around on a smooth, flat, sturdy floor. It bent all to crap when moving the saw off the moving truck during a move. Beat it back into usable shape which was OK. Leveling feet don't lock in place. This thing always struck me as cheap, barely adequate junk even before I bent it. You can DIY a better base for the same $$ or less. |

Works well |
I just assembled this for my new band saw. It went together well. The instructions took a little time to understand, but the parts were all there and went together with no problems.
This stand does what it is supposed to do. The levers work fine for setting the brakes or getting things rolling again. I bought it on sale at Rockler for $49.95 and I think it was a great value at that price. I am happy with the choice and it is working very well for me. |
