Fantastic Machine |
|
This makes hanging drywall a breeze. I bought this because I was hangdrywall myself. It worked fantastic. If I had one conit would be the break it doesn't hold as well as it should. |

Solid Product |
I could have rented one for 8 days at the price I paid for this one. I am doing a basement by myself and needed it for more than 8 days to do 1600 square feet of ceilings. It worked well with a few minor adjustments and some WD-40 to get out the squeaks. The construction is a bit crude but very solid. It weighs about 98 lbs and costs almost 100 dollars to ship but at the 74 dollar price it was worth it. Cool thing is that I can sell it for 100 bucks after I am finished and recover some of the cost.
Shipping was fast and product was in good shape when it arrived. |

Well worth the money |
Works great!
Pros: does everything a drywall lift should do. It appears they have the box thing figured out... mine came in a double boxed carton.
Cons: The handle on the lifting mechanism uses a lock nut and if/when that nut backs off it catches the lifting wire. Minor I know but it took me awhile to figure out why the lift would not go up LOL.
I'd buy another one in a heartbeat! |

Happy in NC |
This wallboard lift is really amazing. It is built strong.
I hung 4'x 12' sheetrock with this lift and it was so easy.
Don't let the low price fool you.It is well worth a lot more.

Drywall Jack Arrived as Advertised |
After a problem with shipping (UPS said the 1st unit was damaged and didn't even deliver it), the Platinum drywall jack arrived. The box was a bit beat up, but the inner carton was ok. All the parts were packed in bubble wrap and cardboard, and the drywall jack assembled and disassembled fairly easily by following the instructions. The steel frame was nicely welded and otherwise constructed. All the drywall jacks I looked at seemed to be about identical except for the color, so I bought on price.
Shipping about doubled the cost (it weighs ~100lbs), but even with the shipping, it was a lot less expensive than I could find a drywall jack locally without even considering sales tax. |
