This saw is awesome. Took it out for it's first use today. Great power on demand at the push of a button, no worries about gas or oil, just the lube the chain and you're good to go. Sliced through moist maple like butter. Handled branches up to 8" with ease. It did, however, throw its chain after an hour of use, which was entirely my fault; do what you're supposed to, and adjust the tension are the new chain has warmed up (and therefore expanded!) a bit. A great, versatile tool! |

It was my first experience with any kind of chainsaw and I have survived it so far. Be sure to read the instructions. Assembly was easy enough. The adjustable pole is a good feature. You will need some 30 or 40 weight oil before using it and also a good outdoor extension cord. I found the instructions on adjusting the chain confusing. |

Borrowed one from a neighbor, and had to have one for myself! Use it all the time. Great for palms, shrubs, trees, will pay for itself in no time!
Uses a small lightweight extension cord and saw allows great dexterity ex-
tended or retracted. Quiet operation lets you work late or early without bothering the neighbors. When I shopped the market the only other product that got my attention was the stihl 2-stroke extendable saw.($420.00)This Remington product, in my opinion, is directly comparable in quality, doesn't burn mixed gasoline and works with the push of a button. What a charm!! |

The saw works great. The long reach is handy, but it is a little end heavy and may be difficult to balance for a small person. |
