Product Description |
|
Kid Pix Deluxe 4 Home Edition has all the creative functionality one would expect, from selecting from an array of art mediums (paint, watercolor, airbrush, pencil, crayon, marker, chalk, etc.) to using various finishing techniques (stickers, stamps, typeface, etc.). In addition, the software can add special effects (animate, smudge, smear, warp twist, etc.) for a wacky look, suggest ideas and backgrounds to help get creative juices flowing, and import digital photos to personalize. For more than 10 years, Kid Pix has been the graphics software of choice for educators, parents, and, most importantly, kids! |

kid pleasing and very intuitive |
|
My youngest begged for this having tried it at kindergarten. Upon installation I set her up and watched her create fun, colorful art and effects with ease. She could spend hours creating (if we'd let her). The graphics rendering can be a bit pixelated at times but for the average child user, it's of no concern. The variety of the art creation potential does not represent the price paid - the software's a steal of a value. Compared to games I've purchased, this was a much better investment. Highly recommended. |

Fun and easy to use. Not the worlds greatest art program, but it builds good mouse skills and provides a lot of entertainment for the $$$. |

poor |
Bought it as a compensation to Disney Magic Artist's lack of UNDOs. Providing children with only 1 level of Undo, is straight cruel.
Turned out this also has only ONE UNDO, moreover the tools in KidPix are very poor quality compared to that of the Magic Artist's.
For example the very basic tool is the drawing tool. In KidPix tools have 3 sizes. The drawing tool's small size provides a shaky 1 pixel line, the next size, medium gives you a thick line of about 10 pixels.
There is no paint brush that will keep your lines visible underpaint, stickers and animated stickers are ridiculous icon-size quality...ect. |

This is GREAT for kids!! |
|
Our granddaughter played with this when she learned to use a PC at around 3 or 4. I just re-purchased it and she still loves it at age 9. It's all too easy to be creative, and loads of fun! |
